Happy
How can you not be happy after a day like that?
Good food: Almond milk with banana and coconut / fennel with some cheese / vegetables and Indian basmati rice, in between 1 piece of chocolate (90%) and a Mozartkugel that was in a care package for me. Some coffee (ok...two cups), lots of herbal tea.
Gifts: A care package with lots of chocolate from mum to help me get through the winter, more money for derusting...now rust really doesn't stand a chance.
During the day: Sport - only 7 min, but intense... phew...time to pray...working on the revision of my personal website KerstinHack.de, which urgently needs it / Revision of LEA - so that the standard is maintained / Advertising for the online courses LEA and SAM/ Mini nap (about 3 minutes, then I didn't feel like it anymore), emails and two good coaching sessions.
Late afternoon: Time with a precious friend and her sweet daughter - not long but nice.
In the evening: Book premiere of Mindfuck love. How we sabotage ourselves in love and what we can do about it from Dr Petra Bock. She is one of the top coaches in Germany and I have already benefited greatly from some of her books - so I was excited to meet the woman live. The title of the book is certainly not to everyone's taste - at least it sounds better in English than „Hirnscheiße“ ....but that's exactly what it's about. Mindfucks are - usually unconscious - beliefs and thought patterns that we often developed in early childhood, e.g. „I always have to be there for everyone“, and which later stand in the way of a mature relationship on an equal footing. She explained very clearly and impressively how to get to the bottom of these patterns - there are only seven basic patterns, and once you know them, you can easily identify them. And, of course, how to get rid of them.... and become free for richer encounters at eye level. Really beautiful.
It was doubly nice that the evening was a kind of gift. Three days ago, as I was walking home from the underground, I felt the impulse to go back and look at an event poster advertising around 30 events. I went back and discovered the event with Petra Bock. I saw it and knew: I want to go there. I believe in a good God who is smarter than I am and knows more - and who probably thought I would enjoy the event. He was right.
At night: Buying raspberries, walking along the brightly lit Ku'damm in the mild autumn air. Feel gratitude in every pore!
A good mix of everything - what a lovely day!
I like the word „brain carnival“ - sums it up well for me :D
And I'm totally grateful that my husband makes it so incredibly easy for me not to have too much of that in my life - at least not in terms of our relationship.
That sounds really good!
