Love is....

My latest book, *Prayer: Simple and Moving*, was published in March. It was very well received. The design appealed to many people. So did the content – as always, in the „Down to Earth“ style – putting important points across briefly and concisely.

I’m currently working on a new *schlicht + ergreifend* title, which is due to be published in the autumn:

Love. Simple + moving

As I don’t know everything – thank goodness – I’m looking for your input. To be more specific, I’m looking for answers to the following questions:

1. Love is…?
2. What are the most helpful relationship guides you know of? (I mean books, not people)?
Please include the author, title, publisher and year of publication
3. What are your favourite romance novels?
4. What are the best romantic films you know of?

I’m looking forward to your replies. At *Bei Liebe ist*… we list authors by their first name and the first letter of their surname. So you’ve got a chance of being mentioned by name in a book.

If you’d like to have a read, you can find it under the heading „Saying Yes“ here on the blog.

Just to give you a quick background: I once put my marriage at risk because I’d fallen in love with another man. When I finally managed to tell my husband, he simply said that I was the woman he loved and the one he’d said ‘I do’ to. That said it all :-).

    1. Love is…? …serving the other person! For years, I expected and demanded far too much in my relationships. A lot has been broken. Now I’m learning that to love means making sacrifices out of love for the other person, stepping out of my comfort zone, not taking myself too seriously, being patient with the other person, giving without expecting anything in return.
