A vegetable box full of gratitude

I've just written an article about gratitude for a magazine. And then, grateful to have completed my No. 1 task of the day, I took a little break. And my first vegetable box from Etepetete received. They rescue vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away because they do not meet certain standards.
In our box were:

  • giant apples
  • Monster carrots
  • Bombs aubergines
  • Little kiwi
  • Small oranges
  • dainty potato
  • Avocados with flaws on the skin
  • and some other things that looked pretty normal. Delicious asparagus, for example.

I'm delighted to have discovered this....

  • Because it is in line with my values to use resources carefully. For example, I really like the fact that Jesus, after miraculously multiplying bread to save people from going hungry, tells the disciples to collect the leftovers. He could perhaps have performed another miracle - but no, he is careful with resources. I think that's good.
  • Because it's a huge relief not to have to carry all the vegetables I eat in smoothies etc. myself. I don't have a car and the nearest organic market is 5 kilometres away. Even the dragging to the tram is annoying.

For me, this is anything but a matter of course. I am grateful that fruit and vegetables grow. And thankful for people who have come up with something like Etepetete. I'm grateful for the post that delivers it. And grateful that I can and am allowed to eat it - without allergies or other obstacles. And grateful for the little break. And the sharing... and

Oh yes, gratitude can be learnt. I would be happy to teach you - for example in my books (simply visit our shop „Enter “DANK" as a search term. Or in my Online course DAN. Gratefully take it all.
