Mandarin oil for cleansing

Today I was on the boat painting, among other things. Paint got where it was supposed to go, but also on my hands. I tried to get it off with turpentine and thinner and wet wipes - nothing helped. So I drove home with dirty hands. On the way, I remembered that I had once heard that you can get colour off with orange oil. I had a mandarin orange in my pocket, peeled it and squirted the oil from the peel onto my fingers and rubbed it on with a cloth - and lo and behold: the colour came off. I sat on the train, ate the tangerine and marvelled: My God just makes the best things!
